Install steps

1. Download the Code::Blocks 10.05 image. If you know you don't have Xcode installed, download the Developer Tools DVD from Apple.
2. Mount the disk image, it's a standard Apple Disk Image (.dmg). Copy the application to where you want it (e.g. /Developer/Applications).

I will be highlighting the MS Windows version. If you need to install the Linux version for which apt-get is not available, or you are running Mac OS X, you will need to download and install the appropriate Code::Blocks version. At the top of the page, select the Downloads link. At the Downloads page, select Download the binary release. Download the source code; If you feel comfortable building applications from source, then this is the recommend way to download Code::Blocks. Downloading the source code and building it yourself puts you in great control and also makes it easier for you to update to newer versions or, even better, create patches for bugs you may find.

Known Bugs

• The 'keybinder' plugin is not working in the 10.05 release. Please disable it, or remove CodeBlocks.app/Contents/Resources/share/codeblocks/libkeybinder.so
